Stainless Steel Sleeves Bundle with Lag Screw Cable Tensioner

Included in the package are 50 packs of Muzata CR13 protective sleeves, 40 packs of CR73 invisible swage lag screws, 80 pieces of aluminum ferrules, 1 socket wrench CT16, and 1 drill bit.

The stainless steel protective sleeves are designed to fit 1/8" wire rope in level wood posts, providing protection against friction wear. These sleeves are not suitable for angle applications or metal posts, but are ideal for use on both wood posts and wood posts with sleeves. They make it easier to stretch cable through posts and maintain proper tension.

The protective sleeves also create a clean finished look by covering ragged holes left after drilling, enhancing the overall appearance of your deck railing. The package includes a matching drill bit for easy hole drilling.

The patented invisible flattened tail design of the swage lag screws allows for a completely invisible installation, hiding the swaged end inside the wood post to achieve a neat appearance. The custom socket wrench CT16 is essential for this invisible installation, preventing the cable from spinning when tightened. This design also ensures that the cable can pass the 4”sphere test to meet code compliance.

Unlike most cable railing hardware that is irreparable after swaging with wire rope, these lag screws are reusable. Simply replace the aluminum ferrule to make adjustments or rebuild the cable railing system without wasting materials. This feature provides flexibility in project measurements and adjustments.
