The Muzata MetalBudget system is designed to assist you in building a 1/8” metal cable railing system using the threaded stud tensioner Muzata CR23, suitable for both level and angled sections. This system is constructed from stainless steel materials known for their exceptional resistance to rust and corrosion.

Saving room:

Side mount posts are strategically installed against the side of the landing to maximize space for stairs and decks. We offer side mount posts with various hole types to streamline installation, including level-drilled posts, 30°-drilled stair posts, and L-drilled corner posts for 2" metal posts.

Weather protection:

The MetalBudget System is constructed from stainless steel materials with excellent rust and corrosion resistance, making it ideal for long-lasting interior and exterior railings with minimal maintenance. Please note that it is not recommended for coastal projects. The recommended distance between two posts is 3ft-4ft, with a cable spacing of 3" for the 4” sphere test. The maximum tensioning span of CR23 is 30 feet, and we recommend terminating the cable at each corner.

Side-mounted Installation:

This 36" square post (brushed finish) is ideal for installation against the side of the landing. It features 10 pairs of pre-drilled level holes for horizontal sections and can serve as a structural end post or middle post in level sections. The post includes a flat bracket for flat handrails. For side mount spacers or fastening kits, search for Muzata PA13, PA14, or PA22.

Made from quality T304 stainless steel, this cable railing post offers excellent rust resistance for indoor and outdoor applications, including decks, stairs, porches, balconies, and fences. Note that this brushed stainless steel post PS01 is not recommended for projects within 10 miles of the seaside or saltwater.

Code compliance:

This structural square post is designed with 3" cable spacing and should not exceed a span of 4 feet between two structural posts to pass the 4" sphere test. Consult local building offices for specific regulations in your area.
